The U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Armed Services is formally accepting Community Project Funding requests from House Members for possible inclusion in FY22 National Defense Authorization Act legislation. Each Member of Congress is allowed 10 total project submissions. Congressman Darin LaHood has recommended to the Committee that the following project in Illinois’ 16th Congressional District be considered to receive funding through the NDAA Community Project Funding process.

Justification for use of funding: This project will allow the 183d Wing, Air National Guard to ensure properly sized facilities for both operational and training functions.
