Peoria, IL—Congressman Darin LaHood recently passed a constituent casework milestone, completing 1,500 requests for assistance from individuals in the 18th District. As of today, 1,504 cases have been closed. Over the past year, constituents from across Central and West-Central Illinois have contacted LaHood for assistance pertaining to federal issues in numerous areas, including veterans’ affairs, IRS issues, passports, Social Security, and Medicare.
“My focus, each and every day, is providing the people of the 18th District with strong constituent service. That’s accomplished by ensuring the best service to the citizens of this District who need help navigating the federal bureaucracies,” said Rep. Darin LaHood. “This position is about helping people and my hope is that this milestone is a reminder that my offices can be a resource to any individuals seeking assistance at the federal level.”
