Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Darin LaHood (IL-16) released the following statement after voting to release the Epstein files and provide transparency to the American public.
“Today, I voted to release all documents related to Jeffrey Epstein’s heinous crimes and provide full transparency to the American people," said Rep. LaHood. "I will continue to support the Oversight Committee’s ongoing efforts to release any remaining documents from the Epstein estate to ensure all the facts surrounding this case are made public. As investigations continue, we must remain focused on delivering justice for the victims. Anyone who participated in these crimes or aided Epstein must be held fully accountable and be criminally charged under the full extent of the law."
