BURR RIDGE, Ill., Aug. 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Congressman Darin LaHood was welcomed at CNH Industrial's (NYSE: CNHI /MI: CNHI) Goodfield, Illinois facility for the first time on August 9. The Company manufactures agricultural equipment for soil management under its Case IH brand and also operates a dedicated Research & Development center at this site. Congressman LaHood represents the 18th district of Illinois, which includes Goodfield.
During his visit, the Congressman took part in a roundtable discussion with employees about issues that are important to the site and its workforce of some 250 employees. Following the discussion, Congressman LaHood was given a tour of the facility, seeing firsthand what goes into making agricultural implements such as disk harrows and crumblers that are used for soil management operations such as field tillage and cultivation. The Congressman took the time to speak with a number of employees during his tour.

The Goodfield facility was first established in 1960 and was acquired by CNH Industrial in 1998. A part of the Company's World Class Manufacturing program, Goodfield is one of the primary manufacturing sites producing crop production equipment for Case IH.
