Peoria, IL—Newly-elected Congressman Darin LaHood continues to establish his staff since being sworn in to the U.S. House of Representatives on September 17. Following his win in the September 10 special election, hiring has taken place in both Washington D.C. and across the 18th Congressional District in Peoria, Jacksonville, and Springfield.

“As I continue to settle-in after the election, establishing staff in both Washington D.C. and the 18th District has been a high priority to assure constituent service is provided as we quickly transition,” said Rep. Darin LaHood. “With the 18th District having gone without representation over the past six months, it is our main goal to pick up existing work and provide the help needed to those in our district.”

Steven Pfrang will serve as the Chief of Staff for Congressman LaHood in Washington D.C. For the Peoria District office, newly hired staff includes, Brad Stotler, District Director, and J.D. Dalfonso, Press Secretary. Both Stotler and Dalfonso grew up and currently reside in the Peoria area, while Steven Pfrang also hails from the Midwest.

Interviews are currently being conducted for various case work positions in the Peoria, Springfield, and Jacksonville offices.
