JACKSONVILLE, IL – Congressman Darin LaHood (R-IL) announced this week that his Jacksonville District Office fully reopened and that he named Stephanie Baptist as the new Constituent Service Specialist in the Jacksonville District Office:

“We are excited to welcome Stephanie as the new Constituent Service Specialist in Jacksonville for Illinois’ 18th District. One of my top priorities is providing strong constituent service and Stephanie’s experience working in the Jacksonville community will help us to continue supporting the needs of residents in central and west-central Illinois. We look forward to her leadership and having the Jacksonville Office open to serve the community once again.”

Stephanie Baptist is a lifetime resident of central Illinois. She previously served as the Director of Development and Communications Director of Commercial Services for Pathway Services Unlimited, an organization that aims to provide and stimulate the development of quality opportunities for persons with developmental disabilities and other physical and mental challenges.

The office operated on a part-time schedule following the unfortunate passing of former staffer Barb Baker. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the office will continue to engage in important practices to mitigate the spread of coronavirus. This includes social distancing, face-covering requirements, and daily disinfecting. Constituents are encouraged to schedule a meeting in the office ahead of time. The office number is (217) 245-1431.
