Right to Life
As a strong practicing Catholic and father of three boys with my wife, I am proud and honored to be pro-life. Our government exists in order to preserve “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” I firmly believe that we must stand up and protect the sanctity of life from the moment of conception on. I will continue to serve as a proud and active advocate in Congress for protecting life and preserving the rights of the unborn.

WASHINGTON, DC—Rep. Darin LaHood participated in debate on the House Floor, advocating in support of the Conscience Protection Act (S. 304) which amends the Public Health Service Act to stop Federal, State, and local governments from penalizing, retaliating, or discriminating against a health care provider if that provider chooses not to participate in abortion services.
